On Wednesday nights in Awana's the kids get to pair up with a partner and see who can put the books of the Bible in order the fastest. The kids learned the books of the Bible years ago by learning a song that I taught them. I actually learned the song years ago myself before we had kids. :) So now Isaac and Sarah are partnering up on Wednesday nights. They are really excited about this! Bryan wanted them to have their on set of "books" to practice with so he built them this set. The kids pitched in and helped as much as they could. The kids have loved having their on set and being able to practice. Thanks Daddy! The Awana thing will narrow down to the top 4 fastest teams and then they will compete in the "Final Four" on a Wednesday night in front of the church. Bryan and I have even been practicing with Isaac and Sarah at home to give them a little competition. :) Their best time at home is 1 minute 47 seconds! It will also be fun to have this set of "books" around for some family fun!

Love this family project. Hope Isaac and Sarah do well.
Wish we could be there.

What a neat idea! Ella is such a hands on learner, I think this would be fun for her. She is doing great with her learning the books of the Bible...she struggles once she gets to Jonah in the OT but has the new down pat. What did Bryan make the "books" out of? I just might have to steal this. You should post it on Pinterest :)
