Boxes, boxes and more boxes!!

Bryan's dad drove the moving truck for us and Elijah just had to ride with him. He rode all the way and did really well.

Bryan's mom came and helped to pack us up and then drove to Tennessee to help unpack.

Our dear friend Craig came and helped.

Elijah would have played in the truck all day, he loved it!

Bryan's brother and a young man from West Park Heights come and helped load the truck.

I have been so wanting to get on here and post, but still no internet at the house. This will probably be a short but with pictures post! :) I never knew how much STUFF we had until it was time to move. We packed and loaded boxes it seems like forever! God truely blessed us with alot of help. We are so very thankful for those who took time to come and bless us with helping to move. Also, the day we left our house in Anniston a dear, very dear, friend showed up to help pack and even brought lunch! Thank you Sara for all you did and for being such a great friend!! Now that we are here in Tennessee I am beginning to wonder if we will ever have everything out of boxes. Every time I get one box unpacked I find another one that needs to be unpacked. I think if I threw half of what we have away we would never miss it, isn't that awful. Tomorrow is Bryan's official first day at the office. I am so ready for things to have some kind of routine...back into the swing of things. It is so crazy when things are not some what routine. I think we will do a couple of days of school and then get back into full swing the next week. Maybe we will get some things straightened up and looking some what descent. We have had someone to look at our house so we are praying that if they are the right ones that they will buy it and if not that God would send the right family. Well I must go and tend to Timothy. I have more pictures to come and can't wait to post them.

Tennessee

OK I promise I have not fallen off the face of the earth!! We have made it to Tennessee and are loving it! I am trying to find my way through boxes, boxes and more boxes! This will be a quick and pictureless post, but I thought it would be better than nothing. We arrived here last Thursday and had so much help to unload our things. No joke, there were a lot of men from the church waiting when we pulled up to help us unload. We have felt so blessed and know that we are so undeserving. I truely know that each one of you have been praying for us and I ask that you continue to pray. I have so many pictures that I want to post when I get more time. We don't have internet at the house yet so I am sitting at McDonald's letting Sarah play and Timothy is hanging out in the high chair. Bryan has taken Isaac and Elijah back to Alabama to get a few more things that didn't make the first trip and to clean the house we are trying to sale. We really like our new home and can't wait to get fully unpacked and it to feel more like home, which may take a while. Well Timothy is ready to go play so I will go for now.

With Love from Tennessee!!

The kids.

The 3 older kids got to spend some time with some people recently that they want be seeing much of in the future. Not that they want ever see them again but just not as often and it was a great time to make some memories.

Last Friday night my mother-in-friend (Bryan's mother) came and got the 3 older kids and took them to her house to spend some time with them. Bryan's parents live on a farm and have cows and tractors. My kids always love going to Pop and Gigi's house. Gigi always cooks their favorite breakfast, which on this visit was waffles and french toast! Pop took each of the kids on a trip to get some hay. They got to see a new baby calf moments after it was born. The kids took their bikes and got to ride them. Wow! I am so blessed to have in-law's that are good to me and my family and knows how to make memories with their grandchildren.

Sarah has gotten to be really big buddies with a set of sisters at church. Hannah and Lauren are right around Sarah's age and have become such good friends. They have been trying to plan for Sarah to come and spend the night for some time now and it just hasn't happened. Well they decided they needed to make that happen before Sarah moved. So last night Sarah went to their house and spent the night. She loves Hannah and Lauren. Those girls have so much fun together. When she came home this afternoon she was soooooo tired!! I am sure they stayed up later then normal and have played all day. Our Family has truely been blessed to have Hannah and Lauren's family in our lives.

Isaac had his cousin Riley to come over last night and spend the night here. Isaac and Riley are two months apart in age and enjoy being with each other. They played on the wii and talked about hunting and some other "cool" stuff. This morning they got up and Bryan took them outside to shoot the BB gun and have some target practice. That was right up their alley. I think they enjoyed that the most and then walked through the woods and collected wild flowers for their moms. How sweet! It has been such a blessing that Isaac and Riley have each other and can be close cousins.

Elijah went with Bryan on Monday up to Shelbyville to help work on the rental house that we will be moving into. When they came home on Tuesday all Elijah kept saying was "I want to go to Maw's house". Well he got to go to Maw's house last night. In case you don't know who Maw is, she is my mother. He could not wait for her to come and get him yesterday. I thought I was not going to get him to take a nap, but I had to tell him that after his nap Maw would be here. Needless to say when she got here we had NO problem getting him in the car and saying good-bye. Of coarse mother called awhile ago and said he didn't want to come home. I am so blessed to have parents who love my children and spend time with them making memories.

I want leave Timothy out...since it was just Bryan, me and Timothy at home today, we went to lunch after we packed up a box or two. Bryan and I worked on packing up a few items this morning and then at lunch we headed to eat and make a quick trip to wal-mart. It was so different to just have one child with us, it was like a big piece of us was missing. It is just not the same when we are not all together. Timothy did so well on our outing and enjoyed having Mommy and Daddy all to himself. He is walking everywhere! We videoed him walking around the house today. He will not be able to remember this day but I know Bryan and I had fun making memories with Timothy today. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who is a great father to our children!

Changes!

I don't really even know the best way to start this post. This year alot of "changes" will be happening for us. In just a month my baby will be turning 1 and then the next month Elijah will be 3 and then this summer my "big" kids will be 7 & 9!! WOW! But I want to share with you a change that will be happening even sooner...we are moving! Yes that is right our family is moving and this will take place in the next couple of weeks. As you all know that Bryan is in the mininstry and that means that as a family we serve God where ever He calls us. We have felt for a while that He was calling us in a new direction and have been praying that He would open the door to where ever He wanted us to go. Well God has spoken and opened the door for us and it is in Tennessee. We are very excited about our new journey and are looking forward to all that He is going to do. Bryan will not be senior pastor, he will be taking on the role of associate pastor, minister of small groups and overseeing all student ministries. Bryan will be serving along side of a very dear pastor friend of ours, Bro. Jonothan Sims (he is the Senior pastor). Bro. Jono is a man of God and we are just delighted to be under his ministry. We thank God for this new ministry and can't wait to get there and start serving Him!! We didn't know exactly how the kids would be with the announcement of a move, but they are so excited. The kids talk about it everyday. Even Elijah says he is ready to go to Shelbyville. That is the town we will be in, Shelbyville, Tennessee. Bryan and I have prayed for God's direction and we know that He has answered and is at work in our lives. Yes, change is hard but when you are in the middle of God's will it makes the change so much easier. Our first Sunday at the new church will be March 28th. If it is a while between blog post for the Camp family you will know why...I (we) will be packing and moving! Please keep checking our blog so that you can stay up to date with our family and our new ministry. One last thing but the most important, please pray for #1) Our home to sell #2) the move to be as smooth as possible #3) that God will take care of ALL the details #4)that God would use our family to minister to those in Tennessee #5) that as a family we would please God in this new ministry He has called us to.

The Kitchen

I have to admit that we spend most of our time in the kitchen! Between cooking, eating and cleaning, some days it is as if we never leave the kitchen. We do love to have other families over and fixing meals for them. We love the fellowship!!

The picture of Timothy is his latest! He is climbing on everything. I can not turn my back for a minute...no make that a second. We have a stool in the kitchen for me to get things down with and if that stool is anywhere near something that he can pull himself up with he is on the top step! The picture is when he had pulled up to the sink, I am just sure he is wanting to help with the dishes.(Ha-Ha) What will he be doing next?

The pictures of the kids with their suckers is a special treat at our house. Elijah loves "dum-dum" suckers and that is what he is enjoying in the picture above. Isaac is a chocolate lover so his sucker is chocolate and Sarah loves gum, her sucker is a "blow pop". They enjoyed their suckers so much and it was such a treat.

The other night Bryan made some bread pudding for a desert. He is a great cook! Bryan is the one who has helped me to be a better cook and given me confidence in the kitchen. We make a great team!

Also the other day I took the kids out for a short while to ride their bikes. It ended up being so cold we didn't stay out as long as I had planned. When we came in I fixed hot chocolate and we enjoyed marshmallows. Those are the moments I just fall in love with. Just enjoying the kids and doing things that are a treat.
