A Heart Toward Home

"...But as for me and my house, we will serve (worship) the LORD."
Joshua 24:15

Homeschooling

We are in our 12th year (2017-2018) of homeschooling. Seems like a long time, but it has gone by sooo fast! I remember when Isaac was a baby and I thought that it would be forever before he started school. This year we have an 10th grader, 9th grader, 5th grader, 3rd grader, and 1st grader.

Bryan and I made the decision to homeschool after much prayer and seeking the Lord. When we first made the decision to homeschool we thought that we would homeschool until each child was entering into the 4th grade. Isaac started the 10th grade this year and we are still homeschooling. Bryan and I have not felt the Lord leading us away from homeschooling yet. God may lead us in a different direction later but right now we are doing exactly what He wants us to do.

It is not the easiest road. We do have our struggles but I have seen and continue to see such great rewards! I am so blessed and thankful that God has provided for me to be at home with our children and to educate them here in our home. I have a great opportunity to make an eternal impact on the lives that God has placed in my care.
