Our AnniversaryTrip

Bryan and I went to Chattanooga, Tennessee for a couple of days to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We went hiking at Signal Point.
Here is a view from our hike. It was beautiful!
This was the roughest terrain on a trail we have ever hiked. But we made it!
Then that afternoon we went to Ruby Falls.
We had lots of fun and look forward to going back. Thankful for my parents who kept our children those couple of days.

Our Wedding Day

Here is a wedding picture I would like to share in honor of our 20 year anniversary! :)
One of the saddest losses in the fire was our wedding video and wedding pictures. Praise the Lord my parents had some that they were able to pass on. Also when my grandmother passed away in 2014 my mother gave me some pictures that were hers, one of them was an 8x10 of our wedding picture.

20 Years!!

Yesterday Bryan and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary! 20 years has gone by really fast and a lot has happened in those twenty years. We were able to get away for a couple of days last week while my parents came up and stayed with the kids. It is very nice to be together and have some alone time. We love each other more today than we did 20 years ago! Bryan shared with me 20 reasons why he loves me and I followed suit with 20 reasons I love him. I wanted to share the 20 reasons I love him...

Number 1: God has changed his heart
Number 2: he loves the Lord with all his heart, soul, and might
Number 3: he has genuine and true worship
Number 4: he has compassion for the lost (those who don't have a intimate relationship with the Lord)
Number 5: he always knows how to make me feel special
Number 6: he had the most unique way of asking me to marry him...I will never forget that!
Number 7: he is the greatest spiritual leader of our family and marriage
Number 8: he is an honest man
Number 9: he loves me unconditionally
Number 10: he provides for our family which allows me to be home with the kids so I can be the mom I need to be
Number 11: he always has my best interest at heart
Number 12: he is great at giving me compliments (truthful)
Number 13: he loves my parents and are very good to them
Number 14: he is the most godly pastor I know
Number 15: he will serve the Lord no matter where He leads
Number 16: he is a great dad to the kids and I couldn't be the mom I am without him being the dad he is
Number 17: he has a big part  in our school and very supportive of our homeschooling
Number 18: he is very knowledgeable of Gods Word and still keeps learning. He has a great desire to know Him greater!
Number 19: I love it when he holds me, I feel very secure and loved
Number 20: he still likes to flirt with me!

I can't wait to see what the next 20 years holds!

15 Years!

Last week was our 15th wedding anniversary! 15 years has flown by so fast! A lot has happened in those 15 years also, 5 children, 4 ministries, moved 7 different times, death of grandparents and so much more. There has been happy times and sad times but there is NO one else I would rather go through these things with than Bryan. He loves me unconditionally and is a man who LOVES and FOLLOWS God!

Bryan had planned us a special get away last week but God had different plans. We were suppose to leave Thursday afternoon and come home on Saturday. At the beginning of last week we got news that one of Bryan's best friends from high school passed away and his wife had asked Bryan to do the funeral. Visitation at the funeral home was Thursday night and the funeral was Friday so that changed our anniversary plans. We know that God wanted us in Clay County to be with Jason's wife and his family and friends. So we headed to Clay County on Thursday and stayed with Bryan's parents that night. While Bryan was at the funeral on Friday the kids and I got to enjoy the pool! It was so nice and the kids and I had so much fun being together. Since Pop (Bryan's dad) has retired he was there to help me out and he was a huge help. He took pictures for me while the kids and I swam and then he held Joanna while I played with the kids in the pool.

Sarah was a fish! She had the best time playing in the pool. She was the one that swam the longest. Sarah also was the one who got a sunburn. :( I loved watching her enjoy her time in the pool. As always she was really good about playing with the little boys.

Elijah and Timothy had to have a ride on Pop's "tractor". This was the highlight of their time at Pop and Gigi's. They enjoyed the pool too but this was their favorite. Those two boys would ride a tractor every day and all day long if they could.

Timothy fell asleep before the ride was over. It did not take him long to perk up and get ready to swim. He enjoyed the pool also, probably the one who enjoyed it second most!

I got Joanna in for a little while. She liked it more than I thought she would. I didn't know how she would do, but I think she would have let me hold her in the pool all day if I would have. She could not do the float very well since she isn't sitting up on her own yet.

Isaac had some ball games so he stayed here in Tennessee with his baseball coach. Their family is some good friends of ours and they have 2 boys right about Isaac's age so they had a blast. Isaac stayed with them for 2 nights and then he was invited to a birthday party on Saturday night so he stayed with that friend on Saturday night. This family goes to our church so Isaac just went to church with them and then we picked him up at their house on Sunday afternoon. Wow! That boy has never stayed that many nights away from us, we thought he would get home sick but he didn't!! Isaac had the best time being with other boys and spending time with his friends!!

So Bryan and I ended up staying in Anniston on Friday night and Saturday night. That was our anniversary get away. My parents kept 3 kiddos and we took Joanna with us. We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed being able to finish a conversation that we started! :) LOL!! We went to eat at the Olive Garden, China Luck (two of my favorites) and then Chick fil A. On Sunday we went and picked up some lunch and took it to my parents house to celebrate my Dad's birthday! It was so nice to be able to spend some time with my Dad for his birthday!

My Dad does so much for us and is always there for us. I wanted to make his birthday special. Wish I could have done more! The kids enjoyed taking turns blowing out the candles. So thankful that my mom and dad kept the kids for Bryan and I to have time together. It was a great weekend with my hubby. I look forward to MANY more years with him!! I love you Bryan!

One Year!

One Year ago today was our first Sunday at Shelbyville Mills! So hard to believe it has been a full year. We are so blessed to have our church family and that God has called us to this ministry. Alot has happened in our lives this past year. Just to name a few...new ministry, two moves, a new baby, Timothy turned 1, Elijah turned 3, Sarah turned 7 and Isaac turned 9. Our church family was so sweet this morning, they called Bryan up and recognized our 1 year anniversary! Our prayer is that God will continue to use us to glorify Him! I wonder what the next year will hold....I am excited to find out!!

14 years and counting!

Me and My wonderful, God sent hubby!

Ms. Caroline kept the kids so we could have a date.

I wanted to post this sooner but haven't had time....better late than never!

Wednesday, Bryan and I celebrated 14 years of marriage. It is so hard to believe that it has been 14 years. Time flies when you are having fun. I can say that we both love each other more today than we did 14 years ago. On Monday Bryan planned a date for us, babysitter and all! Ms. Caroline came when the kids got up from their nap (around 4) and then we headed to Murfreesboro for supper and some time together. We arrived back at home around 8:15 and all was well at the Camp house. Ms. Caroline did great with the kids and the kids had fun with her...yes, she kept all 4 by herself and she survived! It was nice having a date because since we have been here those date nights have been few and far between. We always depended on our parents to watch the kids. I love the man I am married to and I could spend all day listing the many reasons but all I need to say is that he is a gift from God, made just for me! Bryan is a wonderful husband and I look forward to many, many more years together with him. I love you , Bryan!
