We really had a great Thanksgiving! It started off with a visit to my cousin and her family (The Roughton's). We got there last Wednesday at lunch and spent the night then left Thursday at lunch. The kids had a blast! Their family has just moved into a new house and it is such a beautiful house. We were so thankful to have gotten to see their new house and spend time with them! We had so much fun hanging out with them! We decided that we would take turns visiting each other....so now its their turn to come see our new house!! :)

Basketball

Basketball season has started and our two big kiddos are playing. Last year Sarah played and Isaac was finishing up football. This year they both are able to play and enjoy it. They play at the elementary school. Bryan is Sarah's coach this year. Isaac is on a team with alot of his friends from church and football. I took alot of pictures but because they move sooooo fast most of my pictures were a blur. :( I will try and get some better pictures next time. Below is a picture of Sarah throwing the ball in and Isaac (in black) in action!!

10 Months!

I can not tell you where the past 10 months have gone but if I find them I will let you know! LOL!! This little girl of ours was 10 months yesterday!! She is growing so fast and learning new things every day. Joanna has brought added joy to our home. ALL the kids are crazy about her and love her to pieces! She is clapping, can stand alone, crawling everywhere, has 6 teeth, is a great climber, is a stubborn little Camp, her favorite foods are squash and bananas, loves her siblings so much, doesn't like to be alone....and I am sure there are a few more things. Joanna is a very good baby. She does cling to me but will go to Sarah and Bryan....it is so sweet to see her reach out to one of them.

Thank you Lord for giving Joanna to us. Help us Lord to train her in the ways that she should go so that when she is old she will not depart from them. Grow her Lord to love and follow you. Keep her safe and protect her Lord. Equip Bryan and I to be the parents she needs! May Joanna be a blessing to all those who cross her path. Thank you again Lord for this precious life!! Amen

No Training wheels!!

Elijah is like no other child of ours....yet! :) I just decided one day a few weeks ago that we would try to ride with no training wheels. I remember it taking Isaac and Sarah what seemed like forever to learn. So I just naturally thought that it would take a couple of weeks....not so! This boy caught on quick and has been riding the tires off this bicycle! He can even start off on his own. He has done so well and we are all so proud of him! I believe he will be getting his own big boy bike for his birthday!! :)

In April of 2010 Sarah and I did the locks of love (you can see that post) and enjoyed doing it together. So now it was time to do it again! We both got 11 inches cut. It was fun doing this together and one day I am sure Joanna will be able to join us! Sarah and I also spent the morning Christmas shopping! We had a FUN Mommy date!!

Fall Fun!

I am so far behind on blogging (again) that I may never catch up! :)

In October a couple from our church invited us to their house for some "Fall Fun"! We went last year and had such a great time. This year was just as much fun! There are always so much for the kids to do and lots of other kiddos to play with. Lots of GREAT food and a really fun hay ride! My kids were so excited about going and enjoyed every minute of being there. We are so thankful to the Luttrell's for inviting us and going above and beyond to make it a wonderful time!!

Singing praises!

Praise the LORD!

For it is good to sing praises to our God;

For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.

Psalm 147:1

I have added the song "Days of Elijah" to our playlist on the blog. The reason I added this song is because my children have been singing this song alot!! It is awesome to always have a praise on our lips and I want nothing less on the lips of my children! My heart is full just to know that my children are singing songs of praise to God and not songs of the world. Isaac and Sarah are always singing a song that we have sung at church and how sweet it is to my ears and to the ears of our God!!

A friend of ours who reads our blog let me know the other day that she listened to our playlist while she cleaned her house. What an encouragement!! My prayer is that each song that speaks to our hearts would be a blessing to others. May the songs you hear on our blog cause you to worship the One and Only True Living God!!
